2019! What a Year!

2019 has been our busiest year yet and we are so proud to show some of the lab furniture we have produced.

In June we also celebrated 20 years of Lab UK as well as developing a whole new website. In August we received news we achieved Constructionline Gold member status as well as the Health and Safety Acclamation. Having these shows our work is of the highest quality.

Work we have completed this year has been a variety of educational furniture in high schools and universities as well as hospitals and furniture for other industries.

In January we worked at Whitby High School continuing work in their Science Labs. We received the enquiry direct from the high school for lab benching with services.

In April we fitted a mix of hospital treatment rooms and a blood research cleanroom furniture at the Royal Marsden Hospital.

In May we worked at Clatterbridge hospital where we manufactured and installed some cleanroom furniture used for research laboratories.

We also worked at Wax Lyrical in May. Wax lyrical manufacture candles. They asked for full laboratory furniture in their development lab, diffusers lab and burns lab originally quoted in November 2018. We often get enquiries from companies in other industries who require laboratories.

In June, we undertook some work for Griffiths Foods. They required loose and mobile tables in different heights and sizes. As we make all our furniture to order it can be at the heights and sizes you require.

The summer saw us take on some of our biggest jobs so far, University of West Scotland and University of St Andrews. Both were university teaching labs comprising of trespa worktops with reagent shelving, fixed unit systems, single mobile units along with height adjustable tables. Both jobs took several weeks to fit and both the universities and ourselves are very happy with the finished work.

August saw us undergo fitting teaching labs at Liverpool John Moore's University and UCLan Burnley Campus.

In September we designed, manufactured and fitted educational furniture for a high school in Bolton. They were looking for furniture for a food technology room, Science Laboratory and ICT suite. The video below is of the finished work.

We already have worked on the production line for 2020 including hospital furniture and educational lab furniture for many returning customers.
