The main contractor requested design help on a project consisting of 1 Science Theory Lab, 2 Science Practical Labs, 1 DT Room and a Food Technology Room.

After consultation with the school designs were agreed and Lab UK Furniture were appointed to provide all furniture as agreed.

Scope of works

Manufacture supply and installation of fitted furniture

Food Tech Room

Perimeter benches with various storage cupboards below and space for white goods.

Peninsular island benches complete with oven housing and store units for both practical and theory work.

DDA compliant work area with eye level oven hosing units and height adjustable benches to house electric hob, sink and food preparation space.

Science Theory Labs

Perimeter benches with various storage cupboards below. Laboratory sinks, gas taps and electrical ped boxes fitted within and on these benches.

Forward facing island benches for students to complete both theory and practical tasks, fitted with gas taps and electrical ped boxes.

Teachers demo bench with storage below, complete with all services to display practical experiments.
